The Poseidon PBA411 Ballistic Body Armour is a lightweight, flexible NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection system designed to integrate seamlessly with the PSV411 and PSV411(P) Survival Vest/Life Preserver. Developed for military, defence, aviation, maritime, law enforcement, and special operations personnel, the PBA411 provides advanced ballistic protection while maintaining excellent mobility, comfort, and flotation performance.
Its modular design allows the armour to be worn either as an integrated component of the PSV411 system or as a standalone, detachable body armour solution.
Lightweight, Flexible Protection
Constructed using advanced woven aramid fibre technology, the PBA411 provides exceptional ballistic protection while allowing a full range of body movement. Its flexible design reduces fatigue during extended missions without compromising wearer comfort or operational performance.

Certified Integrated Performance
Unlike conventional armour systems, the PBA411 has been tested as an integrated solution with the PSV411 and PSV411(P) survival vest and life preserver systems.
The combined system has successfully undergone:
- ISO 12402 in-water flotation testing
- TSO-C13f aviation life preserver testing
- AS/NZS 1891.1 restraint, fall arrest, and drop testing
- TSO-C1003 operational testing with the armour installed

NIJ Level IIIA Ballistic Protection
